The Lotos LTP5000D Plasma Cutter delivers strong cutting performance in a compact package. An optimized design based on state-of-the-art MOSFET transistors provides high power output for thick metal cutting, as well as steady output for thin metal cutting. Using Pulse-Width-Modulation (PWM) technology, the inverter power supply generates powerful DC welding currents. By employing switch power inverter technology, the dimensions and weight of the main transformer is significantly reduced; while efficiency is increased by 30%. The LTP5000D is an excellent choice for home DIY jobs and light duty small business projects.

To run 110V requires the Pig Tail(model PT01), which does not come with the packages. It is sold separately.

trouble with the pilot, but my hats off to the Amazon replacement policy..NEW ONE WORKS GREAT!

Firstly, when this works, it kicks butt....cuts almost as well as a $1700 plasma cutter I used to use in the shop. I am building a hotrod, and need it for making parts for the frame (1/4 inch steel), and cutting 16 gauge plate for the floors. I had problems with the Pilot working intermittently, so I contacted Amazon. They IMMEDIATELY addressed the issue, sent me out another cutter (which is on its way now) and set me a return code for the bad unit. Based on other reviews of the Lotos, I am confident that the next one wont have the same issue. If it hadn't been for the pilot problem, this would've easily rated 5 stars.. Again though, Amazon rates 5 stars for standing behind their product..UPDATE!...Amazon sent me another unit very quickly....within a half hour (most of it was time spent changing the plug) I was using the new unit and it works perfectly....great unit and ive changed my rating to 5 stars

we have used the plasma cutter to build a bumper and it was great! we would recommend this to anyone, a novice like me or someone that has used one for years. we had a issue with it the first time I used it but customer service called me right back and took care of us. we are more then satisfied with this company and highly recommend them.

I got this after watching a bunch of videos on it. It has been great performs better than i expect everyone that wants one and not sure for the money hands down great little machine. I have used the hell out of it and it cuts everything up to1/2inch on220 not sure on110 have not tried it on110.

This product works even better than I thought it would. I am very happy with it for the price. It was easy to set up and use out of the box. I read through the manual before using it to familiarize myself with it and it works great. I also bought the pigtail adapter for it since I didn't have an outlet with the correct receptacle for the plug on the unit. I have it plugged into 120V currently and it works like a champ. Very happy camper here!

have had this for just over a month now and have cut copper sheet aluminum sheet steel sheet with ease 15 amps. hot knife three butter.. cut some 1/4 soft steel at 35 amps no prob.. have not tried anything thicker yet running on 110 volts .. will have 220 in about a week.. have to give it 5 stars as the price as well as so far anyways is a nice unit..

I have only used it a few times but it cut through some 1/8 mild steel right off the bat! I bought it to help me with a Jeep rust project that I need to cut off part of the frame to put on some Safety Caps. As of now, no issues running it off 110 and a 20 amp breaker. If it does good after my project, I¡¯ll come back and add a star.

I am super impressed with this unit. I am a hobby welder and perfect for that. I have cut up to 1/2" steel with it and a 1 1 /2" rod. Have to take your time but was shocked how well it did. If I did YouTube i would put it on.
