The Lotos LTP5000D Plasma Cutter delivers strong cutting performance in a compact package. An optimized design based on state-of-the-art MOSFET transistors provides high power output for thick metal cutting, as well as steady output for thin metal cutting. Using Pulse-Width-Modulation (PWM) technology, the inverter power supply generates powerful DC welding currents. By employing switch power inverter technology, the dimensions and weight of the main transformer is significantly reduced; while efficiency is increased by 30%. The LTP5000D is an excellent choice for home DIY jobs and light duty small business projects.

To run 110V requires the Pig Tail(model PT01), which does not come with the packages. It is sold separately.

Easy setup

I used it cut through 3/8 inch metal under 240V. Cutting speed is acceptable, The built-in air regulator and filter made my day. I used to have another plasma cutter, but I needed to install the air filter by myself, it took me half an hour to install it, and it would still have several small leaks in it. This one comes with a pre-installed air filter and regulator, and can easily connect to to my air compressor. No more leaking! The whole cutter can be set up within 5 mins!

Worked great and then had issues, but LOTOS saved the day

I had bought this and used it a few times without issue, and then it had stopped. Because I work overseas for extended periods of time, I was not able to return the item through amazon in time. I called and emailed LOTOS with the issue I was having, and they responded very quickly to help me out. They gave me some basic troubleshooting steps to verify a few things for them. Afterward, they honored their warranty on the LOTOS and sent me a new one. I have been very impressed by Lotos's customer service, and the machine has been great so far.

This unit works good for all that I used it for. I rebuild trailers for a hobby and have been vary happy with the use I got out of it. My torch are a back up now that I have this unit.

Super easy to set up

Super easy to set up, the built-in air filter saved my day! My old plasma cutter requires me to install the air filter myself and it will somehow leak air in the connector. But this one comes with a pre-installed air filter with NTP 1/4 inch quick connector. What I need to do are just plug-in and cut. Super easy!

The little machine works great. I tested it under 220V, it can easily cut 1/2 inch. I set the air pressure around 60 PSI and set the output for 50AMP. It cut smoothly. So far, I am satisfied.

NIce home cutter

Purchased and used it on and off for about 3 months. It cut well for an inexpensive unit. Then at about the 3 month mark the power supply blew. Customer service replied quick and after a little troubleshooting they offered to replace unit. New unit is working well.

Quality Cutting£¡ I bought this machine for my hobby project. Lotos provide an affordable price for the plasma cutter. What surprised me is the cutting surface is smooth and the cutting speed is acceptable compare with these thousands $ units.
