The Lotos LT3500 Plasma Cutter is designed for light cutting projects. This unit is the most compact plasma cutter one can find in the market and weighs only 8kg (17.6lbs). In the meantime, this powerful unit is strong enough to cut 10mm (2/5inch) metal with 15mm (3/5inch) severance thickness, making it an ideal choice for cost conscious DIY hobbyists. The LT3500 is similar to the Lotos LT3200 model except it has a higher amperage range up to 35 A under 110V, has a pre-installed air filter and air gauge ready to be connected to your air compressor with the stand NPT 1/4" industry type D coupler (can be setup quickly within 2 minutes).

Holy cow....I love this thing. I've only used it a few times now but it's been enough for me to really, really like it. I'm a real person, not a bot..... The lack of reviews made me weary, but after seeing more reviews on home depots site....plus figuring out I'd be at least $750 into a 240 unit after buying a cord, installing a subpanel. I did buy the esab pt31 torch head someone else mentioned in the reviews for it that they installed it on this unit because the consumables are much cheaper. I haven't installed it yet but I will when I burn up what I've got.
I made several practice cuts on some sheet metal then cut out a couple of Clemson decorative thingys.... I'm impressed. For $200, you can't go wrong. It seems they stand by their warranty based on reviews of other units, if it craps out after 366 days, I'll buy another one.
The only issue i had is that the nipple fitting for the air hose didn't fit my goodyear air hose...i swapped one from another tool and it was fine, looks identical, just barely off somehow......that's splitting hairs.
Excellent for a hobbyist!
These took all of five minutes to cut out....
I should've written this review on my computer, my finger is tired.
Update,....still awesome
Update 7/7/2018: Unfortunately she just quit working for me today. I've checked everything I can check. Air blows through, wires have continuity, ground is good, fresh consumables, everything lights up and sounds as it should. I've sent an email to the seller through Amazon. It's Saturday, so we'll see what happens next week. I'm hoping for good customer service! Changed review to four stars since I've only had it since March. Will update when I have news, good or bad.
7/11 update: Customer service contacted me after I emailed them through Amazon, they sent me a shipping label and it's heading out for repair. So far so good, hopefully it comes back working again soon!
7/27.... Received the machine back today along with a video and pics of it working fine no extra charge...it works great again. That said they found nothing wrong. It sounds different and they put a new fitting on the pressure regulator that actually fits my equipment. .....so regardless of their website saying they'll charge you $60+ for shipping to repair..... They didn't charge me a thing and were quite good at handling the issue. My cheap plasma is going again. Thank you!
Adding another pic
10/9/2018 update: still love it, been trying to work with my 220v primeweld unit and it can't cut as clean. the Lotos has a much tighter arc and cut much cleaner, much better for clean cuts in sheet metal. I'll keep my primeweld for heavier jobs and as a backup.

Just what I was looking for. Have not used very much but when I did it worked well.

Works great for a $200 machine - A lot cleaner cut than a cutting torch - A lot less mess also - ground cable could be a bit longer

I've had this about 6 weeks now and haven't had any problems with it so far. I didn't purchase this planning on daily use. I mainly bought it for a frame repair project on my Jeep. Didn't want to mess with cutoff wheels on my grinder or use my oxy/acetylene torch. It worked flawlessly for entire project. It is light and compact enough to sit right on top of my welder.
I did some research before buying it and found the major complaint was the ground lead. The torch cable is about 15ft long while the ground cable was a little over 6ft long. It was also pretty thin stuff as well. I bought 20ft of 4ga marine grade cable to replace the 6 or 8 ga ground cable before even using the machine.
The entire time I used it so far, I haven't managed to max out the duty cycle on it even once. Replacement consumables from Lotos are a bit on the expensive side. I purchased a set form another source, but there are plenty of sellers on Amazon that sell them also. The set I have, the center electrode is a little larger than the torch body where it goes in, but a few seconds on my belt sander fixed that problem.
I was a little concerned about my purchase, but since the project I bought it for is completed, I may only use it once a month if I'm lucky now.

Just received one from Home Depot for < $200 delivered. Seems to work well. One issue was the consumables. Lotos wants a lot for them so I bought a package of "RIVERWELD 60pcs Air Plasma Cutting Cutter Consumables Extended Fit PT-31 LG40 Torch Cut-50d" from Amazon. All I had to do was turn down the center of the electrodes to .293" dia and turn my air pressure down to about 40 psi (because the tip's hole is about .003" larger than Lotos' tip) @ 25 amps (for 1/4" steel) and it cuts great. You might have to play with your settings. The strain relief for the control wire plug was very loss and wouldn't clamp down on the wire so I disassembled it and wrapped electrical tape around the wire several times so the clamp will really work as a strain relief.

Slow and steady and 1/2" A36 did just fine
