Return & Repair

30-Days Satisfaction Guarantee

 At Lotos Technology, our first concern is your 100% satisfaction – Within 30 days, if the customer reports a defect on the product, which is confirmed after return inspection by Lotos, the customer will receive a full refund, credit toward future purchases, or replacement of the product, and (i) Lotos will pay for the return shipping. If no product defect is reported but the customer chooses to return the product within 30 days, the customer will be charged a 20% restocking fee. The 30 day satisfaction guarantee applies to new Lotos machines only. It does not apply to refurbished products, products offered for trial, and other products with specific return policies stated within the product description.


Return Process

1) Request for Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) form by contacting support@lotostechnology.com or by downloading it.

2) When you are ready to ship back your machine, carefully package the product with sufficient cushioning and protection. Send your product back to us using your choice of carrier service (FedEx, USPS, UPS…etc.) at:

3) You must also purchase a Lotos Return Shipping Label if you are out of your 30 day purchase period but still within your 1-year warranty – http://uwelding.com/warranty-and-service-fee (find the shipping label matching your machine model). If you are out of your 1-year warranty then you must pay the Repair Service Fee which can be found on our website under the Warranty & Service Fees (find the service fee which matches your machine model). For all other returns please contact us for assistance.

 

This fee includes the return shipping cost back to you as well as the handling fee. WE ARE NOT responsible for any shipping fees (other than shipping fees or returns under the 30 Day Satisfaction Guarantee Policy).

 

ATTENTION: WE USE OUR OWN RETURN SHIPPING LABELS. ANY OTHER LABELS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED AND WILL DELAY THE PROCESSING OF YOUR RETURN.

 

4) Your return/exchange will be processed within 10 business days and we will inform you by e-mail or phone when your machine is on the way. For any inquiries please contact us by e-mail : support@lotostechnology.com or by phone: 408-739-2329.

5) For returns please ship back only the items which were provided to you in the original box you received from Lotos Technology. If you send your own adaptor plugs, extra accessories or other parts which are not provided by Lotos Technology in your original shipment we cannot guarantee that you will be able to receive these items back from us. Make sure to only ship what you received in the box from Lotos, no other parts included. We are not responsible for providing any of your own extra parts or plugs which you accidentally ship to us, we will not cover the cost of these private items if they are missing nor will we be able to arrange shipment of these items back to you. We will only cover the parts which come with the original package which you receive initially from Lotos Technology.

6) If you are within your 1-year warranty period then you are responsible for paying 2-way shipping fee if you would like a replacement machine. We only offer refurbished machines in exchange for your original machine. You can purchase the two-way shipping fee on our website by searching for Continental U.S. Return Shipping Fee for (machine name here ie. LT5000D, MIG140, etc). 7) If you are out of your 1-year warranty period and you do not have an additional warranty then you are responsible for covering the Repair Service fee if you want a replacement machine if you are eligible for return.The Repair Service fee includes 2-way shipping fee and repair service. By purchasing this repair fee Lotos Technology will email a UPS return shipping label and will facilitate the shipment for a refurbished machine once we receiver your original machine shipment.

8) If you are cancelling/ returning an item back to us because of a purchasing error or buyers remorse after the machine has already been shipped and is en route we will charge a 20% re-stocking fee.

9) For replacements given for customers who receive a replacement machine who are within their 1-year warranty period no extended warranty can be applied to refurbished products. Any refurbished/ replacement machine is not eligible for extended 3-year extended warranty. Any purchase of an extended 3-year extended warranty will be voided and are invalid for refurbished/ replacement machines.

10.) PLEASE CONTACT US TO DETERMINE WHETHER OR NOT YOU ARE ELIGIBLE FOR A RETURN/ REPLACEMENT OR REFUND.

(i) Sales outside of the 48 continental states of United States are still included under our warranty policy. However, customers are responsible for all the shipping cost of repairing and returning.
